PROJECT PALCCH

Palestinian Catering Center for Hospitals

Based On the ongoing Modernization process for Palestinian Health sector a need to build a Palestinian Catering Center to provide a high quality and modernized service for Hospitals (Catering services) as (PalCC–Project) was very clear and needed.

This project was meant to study the currently running Health-related agriculture and nutrition (Providing meals for patients at hospitals) in Palestine;  based on existing systems, then to propose a new system that uses up to date technologies to provide high quality services.

The new system (PalCC–Project Portal) technical and non-technical specifications will be proposed based on a deep study for the value-chain and the procedures currently used in Palestine by: 1) Private, 2) Government and 3) NGOs hospitals. Therefore the new system should support the new requirement and adopted new technologies with a high level of effectiveness and transparency based on standards, safety and quality.

Project PAL - WCPU

Women and Children Protection Unit

The Protection and Counseling Program represents one of the basic elements within the performance of the foundation in general. The implementation of this program is essential since there is a lack in the psychological services in Palestine comparing to the need. The program works mainly on providing women with psychological support through regular counseling service that is delivered to beneficiaries by qualified team of counsellors. At the same time, an adequate space is assigned within the program in order to develop the qualifications of the counsellors and provide them with new techniques that return with great benefits on the beneficiaries themselves. In this regard, we are in process of developing the counselling toll-free line, and this service will be provided all over the country, the numbers will be distributed. This would be a great asset to provide the services for the beneficiaries who could not access the foundation's offices to receive the service or did not wish to uncover their identity. It was indicated that many women were subject to sexual abuse inside the family but did not wish to uncover their identities. Those cases are able to get help through the program and through the open line service.
